NW RIC Board members present included Matt Nordin, Mindy Dunrud, Holly Burkel, Cari Dostal and Mark Johnson. Also, present Special Education Director Kim Johnson and Assistant Director Becky Levenhagen, EA representatives Jeri Nomeland, Molly Spindler, Erica Kiesow and Jeremy Sollund.

Chairperson Nordin called the NW RIC Board Meeting to order.

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the agenda as presented. Moved by Johnson, seconded by Dunrud. Motion Carried.

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the August 7, 2023 regular business meeting. Moved by Nordin, seconded by Burkel. Motion Carried.

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the 2023-24 amended Occupational Therapy (OT) Agreement with the Area Special Education Cooperative (ASEC). Moved by Burkel, seconded by Johnson. Motion Carried.

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the employment of Anna Sikorski, ECSE Teacher, effective September 6, 2023. Moved by Nordin, seconded by Dostal. Motion Carried.

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the September board bills in the amount of $11,060.92 and October board bills in the amount of $32,888.93. Moved by Burkel, seconded by Dunrud. Motion Carried.

Special Ed Director reported on back-to-school update and shared resource drive overview, Cash Flow and Cash Expenditures.

Motion was made by Burkel to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Dunrud. Motion Carried. Meeting adjourned.

The next regular NW RIC Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 4, 2023, at 6:00 PM.
