Debbie Knutson, 60

Debbie Knutson of Halma, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 with her loving husband, Michael and granddaughter, Ashley by her side.

Debbie Kay Knutson was born on May 10, 1963 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Jean and Lawrence. She married Michael Knutson in July of 1998. Before becoming sick, they enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, and country drives together. Debbie was amazingly talented in computer skills, she helped create and design an international online radio show.

She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Jean and Lawrence. Her Son, Timmothy. Brother, Duane. Brother in law, James. Her Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, as well as her long time friend, Becky.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Mike. Her daughters, LeeAnn (Dennis), Nola (Casey) and Carlee. Her son, James. Her sisters Delrae and Donna. Nieces and Nephews, Ali, William, James, Janine, and Janette. Great nephew, Hunter. Grandchildren, Kara (Jorde), Ashley, Colton, Trevor, Caden, Cooper, Ashton, and Pheobie. Her soon to be Great Grandchild that she was so hoping to meet. Also, her long time friend Lori and long time friend David.

Debbie loved the Lord Jesus Christ and her family fiercely and with all her heart. She courageously fought a battle against Cancer with dignity and grace. She was gentle, kind, and faithful right up to the end.

The Sunshine Hospitality House in Grand Forks, ND was so very special to Debbie and her family. In lieu of flowers, please, donate to the Sunshine House so they may continue supporting so many others with generosity and hospitality when needed.

Adhering to Debbie’s wishes the family is planning a private service.
