The Karlstad Baptist Church once stood on the corner of Highway 11 and First Street in Karlstad, where Danny Johnson currently has a storage shed. This church building was built in 1906. Improvements were made to it over the years, including the addition of a Gothic style tower. The congregation built a new building on the former Gunhild Johnson property in 1990.
