8. Kittson County Highway Engineer Arthur Kukowski
a. Kukowski presented information on the previously tabled item of the purchase of the lease from Ziegler for the motor grader. Prior request was to make an inquiry about the payment date if we were to purchase the lease. Kukowski reported Ziegler would accept payment in 2027.

b. Kukowski presented bids for CP 35-26-900. Kukowski recommended awarding the project to Davidson Construction Inc for $83,252.00.

b. Swenson presented a quote from Election Systems and Software for a new election reporting laptop as the old one was no longer compatible. The quote was for $4,749.00 which is included in the 2026 budget.

c. Swenson presented for approval the annual electronic licensing system agreement with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for snowmobiles, ATVs, and boats.

10. Kittson County Administrator Aimee Sugden
a. Sugden requested approval for Resolution
#26-07
APPROVING THE ARVESON TOWNSHIP GREENWAY ADDITION
WHEREAS, a proposal has been submitted to establish the Greenway Addition within Arveson Township, Kittson County, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Greenway Addition has been reviewed for compliance with applicable county ordinances, subdivision regulations, and land use requirements; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of the Greenway Addition will support responsible land use, enhance property development opportunities, and serve the best interests of the public;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kittson County Board of Commissioners that the proposed Greenway Addition in Arveson Township is hereby approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the appropriate county officials are hereby authorized to execute any documents necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution.
