FOR THE REDETERMINATION OF BENEFITS OF KITTSON COUNTY DITCH 17
NOTICE OF FINAL HEARING
Please Take Notice: The Kittson County Board of Commissioners, Drainage Authority for Kittson County Ditch 17 (“CD 17”), will hold a final hearing on the Viewers’ Report of Benefits and Damages for the redetermination of benefits of CD 17. The Viewers’ Report has been filed with the Drainage Authority. The hearing will be held on April 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., in the Upper-Level Meeting Room at the Kittson County Courthouse, 410 5th Street South, Hallock, Minnesota. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
The Viewers’ Report, along with amendments, if any, are available for inspection by contacting Aimee Sugden, Kittson County Administrator, by email or phone (
asugden@co.kittson.mn.us or (218) 853-2805). Written comments may be directed to Aimee Sugden by email or by U.S. Mail to Kittson County Courthouse, Attn: Aimee Sugden, 410 5th Street S, Hallock, MN 56728.
Please note this is a combined hearing involving benefits redeterminations for Kittson County Ditches 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 30; Judicial Ditches 31 and 32; and State Ditch 84.
At the final hearing, the Drainage Authority will accept public comment regarding the Viewers’ Reports. Any party having an interest in the proceedings may appear and provide comment per the instructions above. Written comments will be accepted through close of business on April 6, 2026, by email or by U.S. Mail to Aimee Sugden (
asugden@co.kittson.mn.us or Kittson County Courthouse, Attn: Aimee Sugden, 410 5th Street S, Hallock, MN 56728).

Richardville Township, T163N-R48W, Sections 6, 7, 18, Kittson County.
Saint Vincent Township, T163N-R50W, Section 13, Kittson County.
Clow Township, T163N-R49W, Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, Kittson County.
